WEB WISE KIDSIs an internet safety resource center for parents, teachers and children.
They help to encourage the entire family, especially those new to the Internet, to
discover the wonderful opportunities in cyberspace. It is also their desire to help
parents and teachers equip themselves and their children for the possible dangers that
lurk in cyberspace, and to prepare them to make good choices when confronted with
difficult or confusing situations online.
CHILD FINDChild Find is a charitable organization dedicated to reducing the incidence of missing children/youth through education, prevention and location programs. We are the oldest, largest and most comprehensive missing children's network in Canada.
CHILD QUEST INTERNATIONAL
HOMEFIRESThey provide professional and ethical investigative assistance pro bono publico (without charge) to custodial parents or guardians who are engaged in the legal search for missing children. Along with providing investigative resources pro bono publico to any local, state, or federal law enforcement agency, including established missing children organizations, who request our assistance. To help educate and increase the public's awareness of Child Abduction Prevention through the use of legally conducted criminal background investigations. Information resources via the Home Fires Website, in an effort to help the public identify experienced Private Investigators capable of providing reasonable and quality investigative services. www.s-a-v-e.orgSurvivors And Victims Empowered distributes literature, coordinates conferences and gave away over 500,000 presents to children who have suffered abuse and neglect. Over 3 million copies of their Child Protection Guides (CPG) have been used by parents, teachers, pastors and others who work with children. A free copy of the CPG is available at their website. This site is an Official Member of ABDUCTION - CHECKLIST FOR PARENTS Child Find of AmericaChild Find of America, Inc. is a national not-for-profit charity whose mission is to locate missing children through active investigation, prevent child abduction through education, and resolve incidents of parental abduction through mediation. Founded in 1980 by a mother of a missing child, Child Find has helped locate, and/or return to a legal environment through mediation, over 2,700 children in all 50 states and 7 foreign countries. In the fiscal year, 1996, 90 cents of every dollar Child Find received was spent on its programs of Location, Mediation, Public Information, and Referrals to appropriate resources. Missing Children Society of CanadaThe Missing Children Society of Canada (MCSC) is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to the search for runaway and abducted children. MCSC provides a comprehensive investigative program, free of charge, to assist police and searching parents in the active, ongoing search for missing children. National Center for Missing and Exploited ChildrenAs the nation's resource center for child protection, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) spearheads national efforts to locate and recover missing children and raises public awareness about ways to prevent child abduction, molestation, and sexual exploitation. A private, nonprofit organization established in 1984, NCMEC operates under a Congressional mandate and works in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Justice's Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention.
The Vanished Children's Alliance was formed in 1980 to address the growing need
for victim parents to obtain credible, effective and compassionate assistance in the
location and recovery of their missing or abducted children.
